There are some helpful attributes to this 7" saw: after reducing nearly 200 tiles (5/8" thick, 12x12 saltillo), the motor continues to offer superb efficiency. The issues are multitude: 1. The laser is an inexpensive plastic add-on. 2. there shouldn't be any finger clearance under the motor, making the ultimate inches of any minimize very difficult. 3. there have been no directions to talk of -- even assembly required me to guess. Be forewarned that the stand needs to be connected to a few kind of base (holes in the stand are supplied, but, again, there have been no instructions or warnings equipped) 4. the metal put up that offers for attachment between the motor and the frame/track is poorly manufactured making meeting troublesome and blade alignment as smartly as disassembly nearly not you'll be able to. 5. The absolute worst drawback is the observe machine. Often tile dust gets covered on the track rod preventing easy operation. This makes the noticed dangerous unless you constantly clean the track.
